Doug in 2006-07 will begin his 17th season as team videographer for the Johnstown Chiefs. He personally brought the Chiefs online in the early days of the internet explosion, building the original Johnstown Chiefs website before the ECHL even had a site. Hired by the late John Daley after the Chiefs' first half season in the ECHL, Doug has stuck by the team through thick and thin, filming some of the finest game videos in the ECHL. The Chiefs are also the only team to have game videos or DVD's for sale on the internet from 1989 to present. Doug, a 48-year lifelong resident of Johnstown, also owns and operates Heck's Video Productions/Photography (1982) and the Heck Building (1935), located in the Moxham section of the city. He has three children. Jennifer (25) a Corporate Trainer for Digital Solutions Inc., Heather (19) a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Matt (17), a Senior at Greater Johnstown High School. He's a high honor student and full time mechanic at Team Nisan. He also serves as Doug's backup videographer and photographer.
